Chapter 01.

I’m somewhat of a creative being and I know first-hand how daunting building your own website and selling online can be, so you’re in the right place.

My professional life began 25 years ago. Fresh from Cranfield University with a masters in Air Transport (oh, I forgot to mention that I like aviation too) I landed my first job at LHR. This was a big move for a northern lass from Crewe!

It was here where my love affair with marketing began…working in a busy department creating new brand identities, producing comms materials, building expo stands, creating content and designing websites…oh the days before social media (gosh that makes me sound old!).

Fast forward a couple of years and a few career moves later (and not to mention working with some amazing people along the way), I was on a path which saw me head up marketing divisions for several global companies, and extremely lucky that I got to travel the world in the process.

Chapter 02.

I’d been giving marketing advice, designing logos and building a few websites for family and friends for years. I knew that small business owners often struggled to create professional quality websites and market their business with limited budgets and technical resources, and I knew I could help.

So in 2015, I fulfilled my daydream of becoming my own boss and started my own business - The Little Marketing Dept was born! Combining with my marketing skills, the plan was simple: to give business owners an accessible service, and affordable means of representing their brand professionally online.

Today, I am running a successful business creating beautiful Squarespace websites and navigating clients through the sometimes complicated world of digital marketing. I pride myself on being able to build a genuine connection with my clients and create a digital platform that perfectly reflects their business’ values and unique personality.

Just like you, The Little Marketing Dept is my dream turned into a reality. It’s run on lots of late nights, numerous cups of coffee and a passion for working with incredible entrepreneurs.

I live in Farnham, Surrey with my husband, two sporty boys, and when not working or with family I can usually be found out and about walking our cocker spaniel ‘Betty’.
